One of my happiest moments each week is the short walk from my home in New Haven to the Yale School of Management.

It’s always energizing to be in conversation with emerging leaders - their curiosity and optimism are contagious.

In the classroom

Modern Philanthropy: Perspectives and Challenges

A seminar-style course that convenes philanthropists, foundation leaders, and philanthropic advisors for live case discussions and debates on current issues in the field. Students interrogate real decisions—how priorities are set, how opportunities are sourced and vetted, and how impact is understood in practice.

More detail about the class can be found in the class syllabus.

Beyond the classroom

Student Advising

As faculty advisor to the Social Impact Consulting Club, I guide student teams that identify and scope projects with local nonprofits—shaping the work plan, methodology, milestones, and client communications to ensure clear deliverables and tangible value for partner organizations. I also advise the Golub Capital Board Fellows Program, mentoring students who serve as non-voting members of area nonprofit boards and supporting them as they translate classroom learning into effective board service.
